Home made air freshner spray?
Question:how and what do i need to make my own good smelling air freshner spray? ones that really work like febreze air effects that eliminated all the smells
Answers:
Something I like to do in the spring/ summer months:
Whenever I use a fan (in a window or just sitting in a room to circulate the air), I put a bounce dryer sheet onto the back (the fan will suck it and hold it in place when turned on) and it blows the fresh air, and scent, all over the house! :)
There are only two natural things that work similiar to Febreze. The first is really easy.Just burn an ordinary candle. A candle burning in a room(especially bathroom) takes away all unpleasant odours. The other thing is -burn Incense. Relatively cheap to buy. I use the sticks, but you can get an inceense burner with the little tablets to burn. Done every other day, your home will smell lovely. Good Luck!
I don't think you can make something like that at home. Febreze and sprays like that are in pressurized cans, and I'm pretty sure that has to be done with big machinery. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've never heard of someone being able to do that at home.
If you're wanting a more natural way to freshen your home, you can use natural oils and burn them in a diffuser. You can get a diffuser almost anywhere - it has a space for a tealight candle beneath a place, like a little bowl, for you to put oil or wax chips. You can get oils at any health food store. Lavendar oil is naturally antibacterial, so if you burn it in a diffuser it really will kill germs in the air. Peppermint oil is very sweet and smells good too. You can mix oils together to make your own unique fragrance.
Good luck!
