Fluffy towels.?
Question:How can i stop the new towels that I have bought from putting fluff all over me when I dry myself? it's very irritating - especially as the towels are black!
Answers:
wash them several times before you use them and use fabic softner.
Wash them in the washing machine first.
i had the same problem
once you wash them and dry them once or twice
the excess fluff should go away
wash them, no conditioner and tumble dry.
yup
wash them first
put them in the machine for a wash, then to get them soft and fluffy again leave them in the bath overnight, just in water, when they dry rub them together gently, like new, no fluff.
Wash 'em first - it'll take any excess fluff off... and if you dry them in your dryer it'll fluff THEM up; without them fluffin' YOU up!
Wash them in a hot(tish) wash and DON'T use fabric conditioner. Then tumble dry. Towels are coated with starch when you buy them. This makes them kinda waterproof. It also means that pile is distorted to make them look good.
A good wash and dry will sort it out. Fabric conditioner simply recoats them (often on top of the original coating) so the whole thing becomes a vicious cycle!
Wash them 2 or three times, and put them in the dryer each time (make sure you clean the lint thingie!)
try putting them back in the dryer for a little while and don't wash them with bath rugs/matts . . .
washing and conditioner works for me the more they are washed the better they get
Wash them, then put them in the tumble dryer, this will stop the problem
Wash and dry them a couple of times and that should take alot of the lint off of them.
