How do you prevent underarm discoloration on your shirts?
Question:It's not due to just sweat -- I think it might be something in deodorant? A blue shirt will suddenly have pink underarms...A brown shirt will have orange...Black turns to grey...It only happens in some of my shirts...is it the dye? The fabric? Is there any way to prevent it?
Answers:
It is a chemical in the deodorant. Try a different brand. I use dove.
It's the sweat. Change antiperspirants.
you should use degree! It works really good and I have never had that problem.
oh man change deodorants that shouldnt happen. if you were a guy i would say wear undershirts.
The deodorant's you're using probably has an alcohol based ingredient. Use more powdered deodorant or roll-on without alcohol.
One more possibility is the bacteria in your underarms. They can help the skin produce some acids and fats that can discolor the underarm areas of clothing. You can try using some antibacterial soaps or deodorants (Mitchums) to reduce these bacteria.
Also let your deodorant dry before putting on clothes.
its something in the antipersperant... is it right guard? used to stain ALL my clothes... switch deodorant... you can try white vinegar soak to get the stains out, but once the clkothes have been dried in the dryet, its pretty much set...
its the dye try changing deodorant it will definatly help
