wow I just watched this on TV last night!! put some mayonnaise on them (don't laugh it's the oil in the mayo) and rub it in, leave for 30 minutes, and then scrape off with a scraper or blunt knife or something - it's magic, they come off really easily!!

Carefully and lovingly scrape them off with a scalpel is all I can suggest. Good luck. (should be easier if the glue is wet)
Steam it off
maybe you'll have to try and scrap it off, if this doesnt work it might be a no hoper....kids n stickers grhhhhhh
wd40-just a little sprayed on it will easily lift them.
As suggested try WD40 and a scapel but you can remove the remaining glue easily by using some standard lighter fluid (not the gas)...but I would hesistate on the steaming suggestion as it will most likely damage the wood
I get some stuff called Sticky Stuff Remover from Betterware see www.betterware.co.uk or if you get a catologue delivered use that. you remove as much as you can and this removes the sticky reidue with very little effort
There are numerous ways to remove them. You can use rubbing alcohol or cooking oil or nail polish remover or you can buy Goo Gone at any department store.
wow sounds great julie, I love wacky things that work like that. I would say steam, or if it is the oil in the mayo try oil like baby oil, olive oil, etc and let it soak in. Any oil should work actually.
Try and peel as much of the sticker off as possible, use a spoon handle to scrape it off. It might be an idea to wipe the sticker with nail polish remover as that will dissolve the glue - it may mark the wood though.
What always works for me is a hairdryer on its hottest setting, and then peel it off SLOWLY
Try Goo Gone and then thoroughly clean and re-polish to protect the wood.
Wendy...apparently if you smother mayonaise all over the stickers and leave it for 20 mins they will just come off!!
GooGone, WD40 and one more to add to that Windex. There is ammonia in windex and that will sometimes cut glue. Whatever you use you might want to try and score or scrap the top layer lightly to allow whatever you use to soak in. Remember let the product you choose do the work patients will pay of . Good Luck
I have used liquid lighter fluid for this purpose...just a small amount should do the trick...
Pull off as much sticker as possible and the residue that gets left behind you need to spray furniture polish on it then scrub area with the duster. You should find it comes off quite easily.
I have been there.
My daughter stuck my little ponies on a brand new bed frame.
The best and least damaging way is to gently scrape off as much as you can with out gougineg the wood then put some WD40 on the remaining bits and sticky stuff and let it sit for a few minutes then just wipe them off with a regular towel or sponge. Repeat as needed till it is all off. If you do not have WD40 use any type of oil (cooking will even work.)
When you have it all off just clean with a little soap and water. Dry completly.
And then give your son a special place (say a piece of Cardboard taped to the bedroom wall) so that he can place his prized stickers in the future.
Get some sticky stuff remover!! Great stuff.
Try using a hair dryer , and they should peal off
try a piece of broken glass and scrape it off
WD40 would get it off and you can also buy some sticky stuff remover from Lakeland Limited.
WD-40...Spray it on and leave it for a few minutes, should wipe right off :)
Rub mayonaise onto the stickers. Leave for 20 mins and scrape off with a plastic scraper,
Another vote for the mayonaise here!
