My natural gas kemore dryer smells somewhat like kerosene when it runs. No gas leaks. Any ideas?

Question:

Answers:
Is it a new dryer? New appliances will sometimes smell when the finishing chemicals are heated up for the first time and until they burn off.

If it's a dryer you've had, it could be bearings or a belt overheating, or something obstructing your burner. If this is possible, I'd have it checked out since anything giving off fumes from the burner could pose a possible fire hazard or carbon monoxide emission.

Check with Kenmore, but it's likely natural for it to emit an odor. We have a propane heater and it smells, also, but not from disrepair. Propane just smells, and it can be a problem for those with asthma.
