What is the best way besides drycleaning to get stains out of clothes ?

Question:I have soo many stains but whenever I use Shout it just makes the clothes look worse !

Answers:
Every stain is different. It varies on what it was that stained the item in the first place and the properties of the actual item. For example, removing a red wine stain from your woolen jumper will have a different method to removing it from your polyester t-shirt. To be sure you'll get the stain out of everything, the safest thing to do would be to go through your wardrobe and identify 1. what the stain was from and 2. what kind of fabric it has stained. If you cant figure out either of those factors, you might just have to find a generic stain removing agent and hope for the best... good luck!

If the tag on the clothes doesn't say dry clean only...then you should be able to let them soak. I either use stain sticks and soak them in hot water or woolite. No gaurantees the stain will come out but it's worth a try.
The only other item you could use if hydrogen peroxide. My husband use this product on his nurses scrubs to get blood off of them.
