Can I use bleach instead of dishwashing liquid to do the dishes?

Question:With bleach it's so easy, just leave the stains in a bucket of hot water and bleach and in an hour it practically cleans itself.

Answers:
For removing stains this will work fine. But will not be an ideal "cleaning" agent. Yes - it will sterilize, but some organic matter will likely remain.

Dishwashing detergents contain surfactants and other additives to aid in releasing grease and oil so that dirt can break free.

After general washing, we use bleach to remove stains on Tupperware and other plasticware that stains from tomato suace and the like.

Why would you really want to do this? Bleach is so bad for you and the environment!
Get rid of your Bleach its a Carcinogen
Bleach iwll remove stains, but it doesnt actually clean. It will disinfect though. Sorry, youre still gonna have to wash them with some kind of soap.
I am now a big fan of white vinegar for numerous cleaning tasks, and adding it to your dish soap will get the dishes cleaner, and you will need to use less soap.
bleach is really bad for your skin even when diluted. it can cause your skin to dry out and it can leave spots on you r skin, so no dont use it as dish washing detergent
I don't think it is a good idea
Sure, but don't invite me over for brunch.
Ive never done that. I don't believe i would be eating out of those dishes. It sounds dangerous.
