Does anyone know how to get blood out of a suede coat?

Question:Took it dry cleaners but they said it probrably wont come and will charge a fortune for trying.Thought somebody might have some ideas, its only a small stain but its a light coloured coat so its very noticeable

Answers:
who did you kill?

First idea is to just get a damp cloth (just cold water) and rub it with that - the suede will be able to recover from that and cold water washes blood out.

This will not work if you have already tried anything else like hot water though!
more chance of getting it out of a stone now-only cosmetic though so just live with it
you may have to take it to the dry cleaners as they are expert at that kind of thing....you are not meant to clean suede and may make a worse mess of the coat
I have lots of suede jackets/coats for years. Home 'cleaning' in between professional cleaning had been essential; order clean only = cheaper plus we can't really press leather anyway.

First of all: permanent suede stains are egg, beer and milk.
Blood or any food could be permanent if stained deep or a lot of it. If have rain spots, brush & blow dry. PS -- I had heard that dry/wet upholstery sprays work but never tried.

1) cleanser that removes blood but does NOT need rinsing
2) portable hair dryer (hand held)
3) stiff brush (2-3" fingernail brush)
4) towel/rags
5) allow time to work with it until finished
6) sit on floor works best = flat firm surface (I like in front TV)

Put your solution onto stain with rag & rub stain (do not soak it, keep wet to a minimum) , - - feather the dampness towards outside of stain in all directions. Try not to make spot too wet or may have water stain. Dab or rub with dry rag.

Brush suede frequently (constant is overdoing) while drying.
This will keep the fibers from flattening (which could be permanent) while drying spot to avoid water ring. You will see fibers coming off with brush which is normal.

Countrystyle - - could 'blow' moisture from spot with air compressor nozzel (blow onto white cloth first to make sure it is not blowing more than air). Then dry with hair dryer & brush.
try hydrogen peroxide but it is a liquid too; it takes blood out of clothes immediately, don't know about suede. try an inside seam
try stain devils used it on pen stains, brill! came out and i know they do one for blood, Worth a go!
