Has anyone every used those dryer balls?
Question:I was contimplating buying them, but I thought I'd ask around first... any comments? Did they really cut your drying time in half? Did it soften and get rid of static? etc... Thanks!

The "Today Show" road tested lots of products for us (the chopper, dryer balls, stuff from infomercials) They said the dryer balls WERE NOT WORTH IT. The clothes weren't softer and they were staticy.
Don't know about drying time. But they do cut down on static electricity and add softness. Plus, in the long run they're cheaper than dryer sheets.
Try using tennis balls. That's what my dry cleaner uses. For static and softness use a good softener bounty or Downy or to cut down on time I love Tide with Downy.
I had never heard of them but thanks for the link! I'll be trying them... if they do work, they'll definitely cost less than dryer sheets! Thanks.
i saw them test it on The Today Show, and it didn't do so well, they gave it a mediocre rating.
PLEASE DONT! They are seriously crap. I've used them a few times on the same items, but they didn't do anything. Basically they are a gimmic. A $9 at chickenfeed gimmic. You are just better off using a fabric softener in your wash. Its cheap and effective.
Don't they make alot of noise in the dryer? I have wondered about them too, but thought they would make too much noise in the dryer.
Those thing look like doggy chew toys. Maybe you'd be better off buying one of those instead.
I bought some they are a waste of money i couldn't tell the difference, went back to dryer sheets.
my sister has one and i usually do my laundry over at her house ( have an 8 month old baby and a bf that works nights) its easy then going to the laundry mat. i have not noticed a difference in the laundry cant use fabric softener with my daughter's clothes and her clothes come out staticy in the laundry mat and with the dryer ball... and becuase i use dreft they arent and softer either. i wouldnt waste the money on them
