How do you clean the mildew and dirt from those cheap white vinyl plastic patio chairs?
Question:
Answers:
I would use a scrub brush and a bucket of bleach water.
I use the clorox outdoor bleach mixed to the ratio for plastic patio furniture on the back. Mine were pretty filthy and had mildewed in the seat where water accumulated. I tried a lot of other cleaners before trying the clorox and none did the job as well. PS If they don't come completely clean, you can always paint them with the new Krylon Paint for plastics.
Wash them with a good liquid detergent like Mr. Clean undiluted. Rinse well then apply straight chlorine bleach (Javex) to the mildewed areas. Let the bleach sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse well. Bleach is great for getting rid of mold and mildewed. Works great around bathroom areas too.
I didn't believe it until I used them, but the Mr Clean Magic Erasers really do work. I used mine on a really gross bathtub of my sisters. I didn't have to scrub hard, it did the work for me. And the cool thing is, you can re use it again and again! Good Luck!!
all you need is a spray bottle and clorox. the stronger the better.let it set in sun for about 5 minutes and rinse off.
Sparkling like new!
Ajax, With hot water and some Ajax powder , you will get them looking good. Wash first with the hot water and sponge, then rinse down with the garden hose.
Just paint over it babe
well there is 2 ways that I do it.
one I use those Mr.clean sponges they work Great!
Two I use a product call simple Green you can buy it at wal-mart.
Get yourself a plastic spray bottle and add a solution of 1/4 bleach and the rest of the way with water. Spray the chair let it sit 5 min. and rinse off with a water hose.Continue this process till it's nice and white again. Do this on the driveway or if your near grass or flowers it could kill them.
**** and Span with a little Clorox in the water, Rinse well.
