Washing a jersey?
Question:I have a bmx jersey and I need to know how to wash it. It has some lettering on it on the back that my racing team manager used that iron on crap. It has some dirt on it fromwhen I crashed. Should I use cold/cold? Thats what I was thinking but im a boy and i have no clue! lol so help me out here pleease!! =)

turn it inside out and wash it on gentle with cold water. hang dry.
Hand wash it in cold water then hang it to dry! The washing machine may destroy it. And so will the dryer!

We all have to start some where, So wash your jersey inside out , on a 30ºc wash or by hand in tepid water. Once you have washed the jersey . Lay on a towel, this if you are washing it by hand. This will help soak up most of the water , then use another towel, and gently roll the jersey inside the towel. leave like this for 1/2 hr before hanging on a coat hanger to dry. This will keep you jersey in shape,and help to keep the lettering on
My nephews rode in the semi pro BMX circuit some years back as well as played football and soccer all of which meant they had to wear jersey's with that "iron on crap". I always washed them on cold/cold and hung them dry or dried them flat on a towel..Hanging them over the shower curtain or a door worked great.. If you want to wash inside out go for it but more then likely it will flip right side out in the wash. No need to hand wash it if your really worried it will get ruined just use gentle cycle. My washer however on "gentle" is no different then "normal" except it would stop periodically then start up again so I just used normal.
