My washing machine does not wash on cold/cold and does not work on rinse, what can be wrong?

Question:Every other cycle works except for cold/cold and I already checked if the cold water was working.

The temperature selector has lost this part of it's brain. Most things can be washed on warm. This part is probably available at a good parts supply or from the manufacturer. If you don't know how to replace it, maybe a friend can or you may need a repair person.
