Use ammonia and hot water, Clean right up.
First try grated soap with water or dish soap with water on a rag. If that doesnt work, try water and a little baking soda to make a soupy mix - this is a mild abrasive, so test a spot first to make sure nothing scratches - then wipe it clean with water. White vinegar mixed with equal parts water is great too. If you have borax, that is a miracle cleaner. If you want to be hardcore about cleaning a spot, use rubbing alcohol and water - but be sure to test a spot because it can remove colors on porous materials like flat paints. These are all cheap natural home solutions.
One part bleach to 10 parts water. I use a name brand knock offs seem to be unprdictable in there strength. Use in a spray bottle working from the top to bottom.
I swear by this. Buy a can of "Tuff Stuff" multi-purpose foam cleaner from the auto dept at Wal-Mart. Usually used for "car carpet" and such. Spray on and let sit for 2 to 3 minutes. Take a "razor blade" and run along surface. Wipe clean and see what areas need a little more "Tuff Stuff". I used this on my wall behind stove (grease splattered). Refrigerator (grease from hands working on cars and such). I spent a good 5 hours cleaning my kitchen with this stuff and a razor blade. After you're through with the kitchen...you can use it for the car carpet. I think it runs $2-3 a can.
