PS: did u try oxy clean and a tooth brush or laundry detergent (the non liquid type), Wat ever you do dont use bleach becuz it can turn yellow if you let the sunlight hit it
Dishwasher...works like a charm! Try pre treating the stain first with a paste of vinegar, toothpaste, baking soda, and water. Then put your hat in the dishwasher (alone) let it dry and there you have it!
I use to watch my husband clean his army hats in the sink with dish soap. But if I was going to wash a hat of my own I would warsh it in the sink with cold water and woolite.
