How to get rid of body odour off the clothes?
Question:after a long sweaty day, i have soak and wash my clothes but the body odour still there...
Answers:
I use Germ-X to kill body odors such as armpit odor. It wipes out bacteria and the consequent smell. The way I handle it is if I start smelling, I just grab the nearest Germ-X container and apply. Lysol wipes out a lot of other odors such as smelly sneaker odor.
I don't hesitate to use random products on my clothes. Car engine degreaser works better than anything on snow jackets. Test first, of course.
Use a good smelling fabric softner,or a fabric spray after you wash with a good detergent. sounds like you are using a cheap soap. Tide will get smell out.
Use some washing soda in the washer. Or baking soda.
Hang the wet clothes on a clothesline in the sun.
Stink all gone.
Wash your clothes using your regular detergent. At the last rinse cycle, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda (may deepends on your wash loads) and it will take care of the odor.
You can also soak those filthy sweathy clothes first in a warm water + baking soda solutions then rinse away before putting it in the laundry machine.
By using the good old fashioned soap bar , soap. ( Natural Soap). Soak your clothes in cold water, remove from water and rub in the soap, Leave free from water with the soap on , for 1/2 hr, now back to the cold water give a rub to clothes. Now add more soap, leaving the soap on , pop into your machine on a 30-40 Âșc wash. Hang outside in the sun & fresh air , the sun will bleach out any sweat stains from the underarms of your clothes,& the fresh air will help to rid the odour. I use the bar soap a lot , epecially for the white clothes and the sweat marks . It works very well for these stains
Add a cup of household ammonia to your wash and wash as normal. You can even let the clothes soak in the water/ammonia solution for an hour before the normal wash.
There is a new Tide with Fabreeze. This may help. Also, check your antiperspirant. It may be just a deodorant which doesn't prevent perspiration but tries to cover up the smell.
