What do you use the permanent press wash machine cycle for?
Question:There is REGULAR, KNITS and PERMANENT PRESS. What do you use ther permanent press for?

permanent press doesn't wear out clothes as quickly as running them thru the regular cycle, yet gets them very clean. i actually used it for all my clothes. i got this tip from martha stewart's website when i got married 2 years ago and it does indeed work better for my clothes. it keeps them looking newer longer.
Usually synthetic fabrics that retain an ironed look if washed gently and dried during the permanent press cycle on the dryer.
Just things you want to be a bit more gentle with than the regular cycle.
Anytime you want to wash something that's not durable enough for the "normal" cycle, but needs more agitation than the "delicate" cycle
