Sulfur water ...?

Question:i live in the country with a well but the thing is we have sulfur water really bad. even have a water softener thing but it isnt really working... we use the salt too what do you do?

maybe your water softner is old and needs to be replaced or maybe you could add a new filter if it takes them. I had this problem too and took the water softner out and in the bottom after all the water drained out it was a whole bunch of sulfur totally covering the intire bottom of it... gross..
