Is baking soda or vinegar better for getting mildew smell out of laundry left in washer for days?
Question:
Answers:
VINEGAR
Just dry the clothes and rewash them. Should remove the smell completely.
What ever you do, dont use both... lol that would be funny though.
Vinegar, as an acid, can damage delicate clothing colors. Trust me, baking soda, is either of the two you name. Maybe lysol would be better.
Don“t know.. But if you mix them it will explode like a volcano (harmlessly)
I would just rewash them with a good detergent and some fabric softener. You could even add in bleach for colors.
rewash them they'll be fine
amonia, actually
just rewash and it gets rid of the smell
Just wash them again and use fabric softner in the rinse cycle. Will smell like roses after that. :P
Rewash them and put some baking soda with the laundry detergent.
I would use the baking soda first. And then I would wash again with detergent. Be sure to use a good fabric softener sheet when you dry them. This should work great.
Don't dry them first. Run them thru a cold water rinse cycle first with baking soda only. Then wash as normal with more baking soda & detergent. Use liquid fabric softener in a double rinse cycle. Good luck!
just run a load of whites with a 1/2
cup of bleach
