Stain on leather couch?

Question:there is crayola marker (washable) on my leather couch. Ive tried just water and towel to get it off... no luck...
is there a household item i can use to get it off?
someone told me to use my leather boot cleaner.

Answers:
I have saddle soap that I used on my boots.

Try water and dish washing liquid.
if you have the cleaer awsome in your area get that. it can be found at most dollar stores, if not try goo gone
You can use your leather boot cleaner, or even Pledge (or a similar product). We use the lemon Pledge wipes, and they get a lot off the couch. They smell nice too!
Unfortunately if you have been unable to remove the marker pen with water and a towel it has possibly soaked into the finish on the leather and so there is nothing on the DIY basis that will remove this.

It will need a solvent to remove the marker and this will also remove the finish and pigment from your sofa (if it is a pigmented suite) which will then need replacing.

This is best left to the experts. Call a trained leather technician to do the work.

If you try to use baby wipes or nail polish remover or many other DIY remedies you will damage the finish on your leather. Baby wipes are just about the worst thing to clean leather with.
