Will using a pumice stone to remove mineral deposits and stains from my toilet bowl scratch/damage it?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, don't use any abrasive material on porcelain.
That's probably why it's stained now, some people use cleansers like "Comet" which are not good on smooth porcelain.
.
When I moved into my apartment, the sinks, toilet and shower heads etc were all covered with lime deposits.
I bought a product at the grocery store called "Lime Away" and following the directions, let it set for 30 minutes. and rinsed it away. I had to do it three times in the shower because the deposits were so thick.
.
There are also products for rust stains as well.
.
Some things can't be cleaned and aren't worth the trouble.
I removed the shower head but it was so bad I had to replace it.
