How do you remove color bleeding stains?

Question:I have a dress and its floral (its cream with teal trimming and flowers). I washed it and now the teal color has bled onto the trimming. How can I remove the color stains without ruining the trimming and the flowers itself?

Answers:
soak it in cold water over night and then use dawn dish soap and a tooth brush and clean away any left over color bleedings good luck

I don't think you can. I had it happen to one of my dresses and took it straight to the dry cleaner hoping they could help -- they told me their was nothing they could do.
