I need airtight containers with lids, large size to store clothes, and household goods. Where can I buy them?

Question:I want the items to be protected from mildew, dust etc. I'm going to be storing them in the garage. I'm near the beach so they need to be protected from the damp.

Answers:
Target, Walmart, the closet store, container store, depending on what city that you live in.

The links below will give you some options.

the container store.
Get the containers anywhere you find the correct sizes with tight fitting lids. We've been hit by Hurricanes Ivan & Katrina amongst other near misses the last three years.

If it's seasonal storage or for hurricane readiness; I reccomend labeling them on the inside in addition to outside in case they get wet. Also; seal with duct tape. Masking tape & painters tapes won't take the moisture.

Also, place at highest level possible. They even have racks that suspend from the ceiling in your garage to hold a couple of hundred pounds of storage containers. Check weight limit on each brand of overhead storage rack you consider.
big lots not only do they have all size containers they have those space bags...way cheaper
The container store! No, really that's what its called. Look online :)
You can buy them at any store...but you can also find tupperware online and buy them, at least they last longer than the cheapies.
Put clothing in "Space Bags" You put items int eh bags, then attach a vacuum to suck the air out. The are available at QVC.com, The container store and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Other house hold items can go in Rubbermaid tubs. You can
actually put the space bags in the Rubbermaid tubs, too.
They are available at Walmart, Kmart and Target.
Wal-Mart is the best place to shop for air tight containers.
