You can wash a down ski jacket in the washing machine just put the setting on delicate wash. Use a mild detergent, like Woolite, put this into the machine as the washing machine is filling, then put in the down jacket... let it go through the entire cycle. Put the dryer on "light dry or fluff dry... or let it dry by hanging it out, just don't hang it out in full sun. keep it in the shade so it won't fade.
I wash my entire king sized down comforter, then I throw it into the dryer... it turns out great.

yeah you can definitely wash it... when i dry it i put a couple clean sneakers in with it and some towels so that it stays fluffy and the down doesn't get all clumped together. good luck

No all the down will go to the bottom have it dry cleaned or buy a dry clean packet at wal-mart and do it yourself but not in the regular wash
