Need to how to fix garage floors that I ruined trying to clean the garage floors with muric acid?

Question:

Answers:
Let me guess, the floor looks dull and roughed up? Muriatic acid is dangerous stuff and should only be used if you've tried the safer (TSP, for example) alternatives. Muriatic acid is corrosive enough to damage the surface of your concrete.

I'm going to guess that you've "etched" the surface. The only good news is that etching roughens the surface of the masonry, allowing better adhesion and absorption of both paints and patching materials. People do it intentionally before applying other materials.

So, maybe you just wanted it cleaner, but the good news is you're ready to dress it up with an epoxy floor system.

You have opened up the very top layer so it is now very rough and streaky.
You can fix this by having a grinding survice come in and grind it down about 1/8 of an inch and it should come out fine.
You can also have a cement service put on a thin topping coat but they have to really know what they are doing. It has to be a real pro. Possibly an older German type would have more ability than us born.
You use special glue and apply a topping mix that will look like new.
You will have to contact many people before you find one who understands and can do it.
