How do you get ball point ink out of clothes?
Question:
Answers:
Spray the clothing generously with hair spray, then rinse in cool water, (in the sink) before washing in the washing machine. Make sure all the ink is gone before it goes into the drier or the stains will be there forever.
try hydrogen peroxide
Try hair spray.
I used hairspray or alcohol when I worked for a ribbon factory that inked ribbon for printers/typewriters.
hydrogen peroxide and a little salt water works well but will leave the spot a different hue than the rest of the shirt. Try more ink, until the shirt is a new color...then you can tell everyone it's a new shirt... :)
Spray with hair spray and launder as usual
Try putting the part that's stained into a glass of milk for a couple of minutes.
