How do you remove cigarette smoke off a white radio/boombox?
Question:I bought a boombox at a flea market and it works fine but I realized it has smoke stain on it. It is yellowish and surpose to be white. If someone please can let me know what will take it off. I didnt want to try a whole lot of stuff cause I dont want anything to eat plastic. Well someone please reply thanks

any kind of soap cleaning product. 409 mr clean.
dawn soap should cut it, if not use ammonia and water.
Dabing a cotton ball into some hydrogen peroxide should do the trick - it's not as harsh as rubbing alcohol, but just as strong. Good luck!
Strongly recommend a cool natural acid called Simple Green. You can purchase it everywhere. I use it to wash my motorcycle, but honestly you can use it everywhere.
Ask around. I guarantee it works on cig' smoke. Though bleaching with peroxide (as suggested above) or an actual bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water) probably would work too.

Use rubbing alcohol.
magig sponge, works great
take small amounts of peroxide, dab some of it on a sponge and wipe the stereo dry. that'll work
