What percentage of your clothes do you put in the dryer?
Question:I don't dry in workout clothes, my panties or my bras. Am I the only one or are there others out there like me?
Answers:
I put mostly everything in the dryer (except for bras, they get all tangled and twisted,lol)... unless I am afraid it will shrink, then it doesn't go in the dryer...
I dry about 98% of our laundry. My daughter has some of those over fluffy sweaters, you know what I'm talking about? If you dry them in the dryer, after the second time they get holes in them. I lay them on top of my dryer while its on with the rest of the laundry, that heat dries them by just laying on top of my dryer.
I'd say I only dry about 2/3 of my clothes. Shirts that I don't want to fade (or lose their shape) or that have decals/logos in that near-vinyl material, skirts (delicate fabrics) and bras/panties that I'd rather not stretch/strip the elastic in never get dried. I even installed a 'closet rod' above my side-by-side washer/dryer in order to give them space to hang.
I dry nearly everything in my dryer. My really good bras I put in a dryer bag and still put them in there. The only things I don't put in are knitted sweaters or jackets that the label says dry on a hanger or flat. I have 4 kids, so don't have time to wash and hang all the uniforms for school (and husband work) and clothes without the dryer.
I dry almost everything except bras and some of my dressy tops and heavy sweaters that im afraid will shrink. I also hang my comforter and certain blankets up to dry. But sheets and pillow cases go into dryer. I never hang jeans and anything that will become stiff and scratchy up to dry. I would say I dry about 90% of my items in the dryer.
I dry about 75 percent of my clothes. I don't dry shirts that I think will shrink. I'm tall and I don't want shirts or pants to become too short.
Probably at least 95% goes in the dryer, maybe more.
