How do I remove sap near my dogs eye safely?
Question:My white siberian husky has pine sap close to his eye. I can't shampoo it so close to his eye. Please help.

use awarm wash cloth and gently massage the area . Baby oil might help remove the sap also
Warm towel with plenty of water
Use moist cotton balls for now.
Call a vet. Ask the same question. Do what the vet says.

When my dog had tar caked on his face...don't ask...I had to use a mixture of dawn soap warm water and I used a little eyebrow brush to gently remove it. good luck
Massage peanut butter onto it then use something like a medium-soft brush (tooth brush) with warm water to work it out of the fur.
