Remove ink stains?

Question:

Answers:
Spray hairspray on it and rinse with cold water, repeat until stain is gone.

Try spraying it with hairspray before washing.
The best way to remove ink stains is hairspray, believe it or not! Just spray hairspray on the stain, but do not allow it to dry. If it is on clothing, drop it in the washing machine. If it is on something like furniture, follow the hairspray with a wet paper towel or baby wipe. Hairspray will usually remove all of an inkstain, but even if it doesn't get it all, it'll still give the best results.
Biz Boil will get out anything (I suppose almost anything.. but I haven't seen what that would be yet)

Put a 1/2 cup Biz (found in the same place as bleach alternatives) in a large bucket (5 gal is ideal) - add in 2 gallons of boiling water. Stir to disapate the Biz into the boiling water. Add pants, let sit until water cools.

Remove pants & look to see if stain is gone

If not - repeat by simply adding some more boiling water & then let sit overnight

If so, toss in washing machine with other items of simlar color & wash temp... proceed as normal

and for future reference. either keep a bar of Fel Naptha Soap on hand or buy some Naptha LIghter fluid to apply to ink stains as soon as you see them

As for me.. I just keep a bar of Fels Naptha & a bar of Octagon along with Borax, vingar, baking soda, OxyClean, and Biz --- I have yet to see a stain (even stubborn set-in stains) that I can't get out
Ballpoint Ink Stains are the toughest to remove.

Lay the stained area on top of a clean dry white towel that you don't want anymore. Apply rubbing alcohol to the ink stain and blot with another clean white cloth that you don't want anymore, removing the stain as you blot. Rinse thoroughly.

Lay the stained area on top of a clean dry white towel. Apply nail polish remover to the ink stain and blot with another clean white cloth, removing the stain as you blot. Rinse thoroughly.

Apply your normal liquid laundry detergent onto the ink stain and allow the garment to sit for 3-5 minutes.

Wash in the warmest water that the fabric can tolerate.

Before drying, double check to make sure the stain was removed. If not, repeat the previous steps until it is.
