How do you get candle wax out of dry wall and meshed paper?

Question:

Answers:
Dry Wall.....your screwed....you have to paint over it (assuming it has absorbed into the drywall and not just on the surface)

Meshed paper....get a paper towel and a hair dryer...place the paper towel over the wax area and turn the hair dryer on high (heat). Pass the hair dryer over the paper towel while you push it into the paper. This will melt the wax again and it should absorb into the paper towel.

You can try this same thing with the dry wall.

good luck

Try putting a brown paper bag (like from the grocery store) over the way and ironing it with a med/hot iron, the wax should melt and the paper bag will suck it up.

This works great for wax on carpet, but I've never tried to get wax out of drywall. If you can't get it out, I'd cut out the drywall and replace it, if you paint over it I think it will still show since the paint will not be absorbed where the wax is.

Goodluck
