What is the best way to clean burnt on stains on a ceramic stove-top?
Question:My husband spilled lasagna sauce on my stove top and instead of cleaning it off right away, he just kept cooking until it was really burnt on.
Answers:
have you tried to let hot water sit on it yet?
what have you tried?
otherwise elbow grease
Make baking soda and vinegar into a paste and apply it with a soaking wet cloth. leave the cloth for an hour and it should all lift away. If not, just add more water and let sit again.
Never use anything abrasive on a ceramic stove top..scratches...Let it heat a Little bit and gently scrape with a plastic scrapper...gentle is the key word...I use Cerami-Brite and after 5 years my stove looks like new...and it has been there and back...Good Luck
razor blade
Use a combination of Soft Scrub Gel and a sponge. Put the Soft Scrub directly on the stain and let it sit for a little while to allow it to loosen. Then using a wet sponge or cloth, scrub the stain until it's gone.
I use to own a glass top stove. I cleaned it with a white cream that you can get at Wal-Mart. Its in a white bottle. Or you can use Backing soda and warm water.
