Potpourri- what is the best way to smell up your house w/ it?

Question:Hi All. i used to clean condos and they always had potpourri laying in bowls and it always smelled so great and lasted so long, and really filled the house w/ a great smell.Please tell me how to use pot. the right way

It's not really how you use it - since most pot pourri is just left out in a bowl or vase. The key is buying really good quality pot pourri. The stuff you find at the dollar store won't work nearly as well or as long as if you buy it from Pier One or another higher end home store.

I prefer the liquid potpurri and the rings that go around your light bulbs for the strongest potpourri scents throught out your whole house hold. The rings are brass pretty cheap about 1.99 where I live and you sit them ontop of your light bulbs, add a few drops of potpourri oil and you can smell it even when the lights are not on.
