How can I get red food coloring permanantly out of my white T-shirt?
Question:I was dripping some red-dyed water I made on my poster board for my Criminal Justice class and somehow a few little spatters got on the shirt. It's a white T-shirt that I just got from seeing Fall Out Boy at the Honda Civic Tour (Although it's a The Academy is... shirt)
To see the shirt, here's the link:

thanks, I appreciate it. It's the shirt on the bottom left of the picture right above the text found.

Dab a little white vinegar on it and set it in the sun. White vinegar is a natural bleach and removes stains from all kinds of things.
Use some lemon on it. First, wash the stain with water and let as much of it bleed as possible. Then, when no more of the stain is bleeding and the stain is lighter, rub a lemon on it and wash. Then repeat. It should work. Good luck.
try club soda
RIT makes dyes. They also make a product that can take the dye out of clothing. You can get it at wal mart in the laundry ails.
Clorox makes a "bleach pen" that you simply rub on the stain and let it sit a few minutes before washing it in hot water. It works great!
From experience, wash the t-shirt in hot water with other white clothes after you treat it- you can add bleach to the load if you want. DO NOT add Clorox 2 (a color safe bleach) to the wash load, because it will turn the treated area of your shirt yellow.
