Help with my dish washer(How to use?)?
Question:Obviously I am doing dishes for the first time in my life..
I have a hot point HDA 2000 Dish washer...
So I put some dish cleaning liquid, close that small lid for the dish cleaning liquid and close the dish washer...
I choose Normal wash as the mode and let it go..and yeah, there are around 3-5 pots and spoons..so not much stuff inside..
The problem: The foam(lather) comes out of the dish washer and all my floor is wet...what did I do wrong?
I switched it off for a while, set it to rinse, still no go.
I manually cleared some lather and then set it to rinse, still it comes out.
I set to dry, still there is a lot of foam left inside..
What am I missing/doing wrong here PLEASE!!
Thanks
Answers:
Dahling, you are using dishwashing soap which is for washing dishes by hand in the sink. Dishwasher soap is specially formulated to not make suds. You did not damage the dishwasher, just made a mess. Clean it up with some towels from the dirty laundry. Unfortunately you have to run the whole cycle to get the soap out. Just keep towels at the front of the machine on the floor. It is designed to leak out of there if there is a problem.
