Answers:
How to Organize Your Room

Have a room full of stuff you never use, but never bothered to throw away? Read on to learn how to organize your stuff, step by step.
Steps

1. Start with a small area, like a closet or desk.
2. Spread everything that is in that area out on the floor or bed.
3. Make separate piles for things that you want to:

* Throw away
* Give away
* Keep and use a lot
* Keep but not use much
* Display (for example, artwork or other cool stuff)
* Move

4. Throw all the stuff in the "Throw Away" pile out.
5. Give things in the "Give Away" pile to a shelter or organization.
6. Store the things in the "Keep but not use much" pile in large containers.
7. Put stuff you want to "Display" on top of your desk, bureau, etc. so it looks good.
8. Separate things you want to use a lot into categories, and put them in small containers, or a place where they are easy to reach.
9. Move things in the "Move" pile to somewhere else in the room or house. Once you finish organizing the small area, move on to a new area.

Tips

* Stuff that you give away should be in good condition.
* If you don't want to give something away, you could sell it in a garage sale.
* Label the piles so you don't accidentally throw away something you want.
* Get some cabinets, drawers, or other storage items to help your organize. You can get cheap but cheerful storage items from shops such as IKEA or your local supermarket, they're great if you're on a budget.

Warnings

* Some people have a hard time throwing or giving things away, even if they will never use them. If you are one of those people, Use this rule: If you haven't used the item in about 1 year, you don't need it. An exception is if the item is valuable. If you aren't sure, keep the item for about a month and if you haven't used it by then, get rid of it.
* Be careful if you have pets that roam freely around the house they could grab something and get harmed.

First, go thru everything. You don't need notebooks and folders from 4th grade( I should konw, i hold on to everything).
A good rule for letting go of stuff is this: If you have not used the item in one year you will not need it. And if you look at the item and it takes you longer than 5 seconds to decide if its trash or not definetly throw it away.

Otherwise, put everyting one your shelvs and in neat piles.
Good Luck!!
Pull a giant trash bag into the room and go through piece by piece. Sort into grouped piles. Throw away anything that you havent used in the past 6 months (unless it is important memorbilia like baby pictures).

well take all the notebooks and divide them into groups and put them into some drawers
I think you said it best when you said "get rid of stuff". It's amazing the things we keep around that we have absolutely no use for. Go through everything in your room and anything that you don't want, don't need, or haven't used in the past 6 months to a year, you probably won't ever use again. Purge! It's easier to organize when there is less mess to organize. If you want to rearrrange the furniture and such, get out a sketch pad and draw a sketch of your room and then draw out how you want your room to look. This gives you a good starting point. The notebooks and folders should probably be the first things to go because you probably don't use them too often if they are crammed into your drawers. Get the idea of what you want your room to look like, then do whatever you have to do to make it look that way. Get some baskets and plastic containers, a labelmaker, and some caffeine because it may take a whole day to get your room organized completely, but the good news is that once you have it done, you'll get into the routine of keeping it that way. Good Luck!
Set your clock to go off in 15 min´s time, see how much you can do in this time. Get a few boxes and put all the papers inside. you will deal with them later. Put all dirty clothes next to the bedroom door , along with anything else that dose not belong, Stop. If you think you have had enough for the day , then sit down and have a rest, if you think you would rather carry on , then do the same again set the clock for another 15, min´s. doing your room this way will help you get it back to normal. You need not do all in one day, what ever you decide,just remember when ever you finish the job you are doing always reward yourself. Fix all the clothes in your closet first before fixing the paper work, Once this has been done , all the papers in the boxes can be fixed or thrown away. little by little is the way to go. Hope this helps you a little
Get rid of everything you haven't touched for the past yr. in your drawers. Clean out all your drawers & get rid of every paper that has writing on it. Keep only blank note books & things you'll be able to use. Get small plastic containers to put pens, pencils etc. in those. Trash everything else. At your age, get rid of every piece of clothes, shoes etc. you haven't worn the past yr. I'm sure you've outgrown everything else. Take it all to the Goodwill or somewhere they take decent clothes. Let someone else get use out of them who are in need. Get some of those shelf organizers, hang your tops on the top rail, your skirts, slax, & jeans below them. Get a rack for your shoes & they'll all be together nice & neat. You can either get the hanging type of shoe holders or those that sit in the bottom of your closet. Get some of those nice see thru plastic container drawers on wheels. You can put your sweaters & tops in them & you also can see thru the drawers. Saves a lot of time looking thru drawers when you can just look thru the plastic & see what one you might want. You'll be surprised how much neater things w/be & much more organized.
OK your in a knot sister. All you do is this... Go through it and check for the stuff you can throw away and then put that stuff in a pile put the stuff that you need and want to keep in another pile. OK for the closet go like this get hangers. Then you put all the sweaters/sweat shirts in a pile, t-shirts, long sleeves in a pile and etc. Just a few hopefully helpful tips

Keep lots of baskets that look nice (so it doesn't make it look like its cluttered) and just keep the stuff you really need in there.
