In the old days..when I got ballpoint ink on my white RN nurses uniform I sprayed it with hairspray prior to washing.
Oxi Clean the spray and rub it in and scrub it by hand. If the shirt is white after washing it twice, add bleach to it with the oxi clean spray and let it soak!. The stain should be gone.
All the suggestion are good. If they do not work try hydrogen peroxide.
try this stuff called ZOUT works great on ink stains
you can use hairspray if you have not yet gotten the fabric wet. just spray on and let soak for a few minutes and the rub in and wash out.
TRY USING ALCOHOL OR FINGER NAIL POLISH REMOVER OR HAIR SPRAY, DONT WSH IT TILL YOU GET THE STAIN OUT OR DRY IT, IT WILL SET THE INK SPOT
Try Goo-gone it works great with any kind of stain. Good luck
Hairspray is the key, but only the cheap stuff. You want something with lots of alcohol in it. The "good for your hair" pricey brands do not work nearly as well.
What did it stain. If cloth try regular hair spray on it. It shoud take most of it out then wash it with attention given to the stain with stain spray & wash stuff. Or maybe a dry cleaner can help. Again it all depends on the cloth. Good luck
I have always used liquid hairspray..but also I use spray and wash duel action.. good luck
Rubbing alcohol. Cheap and effective! However, it will not get every kind of ink out, but won't harm the material if it doesn't work.
i accidentally wrote across the leg of my khaki pants last year and i used a tide pen. i had to rub it a little bit but the ink came right out
I've gotten ink out of all kinds of shirts, white and colored shirts with aerosol hair spray...not the pump kind. Spray it on, and rub the fabric together, spray again and rub and then rinse and repeat until it all comes out. Works every time.
Oxy CLean or spray stain with hairspray.
