How to remove urine stains from a 1"x1" bathroom tile floor?

Question:Incontinentcy is involved.

Answers:
Household or laundry bleach is cheap, commonly available, and will probably work. Make sure you do not get bleach on anything that you don't want bleached - get all the towels and rugs well out of the way, as well as any furniture, towel stands, etc.

You can try it diluted first, but maybe full strength is indicated for your first try. Make sure there's no liquid urine there (urine contains ammonia, not a good combo), ensure that the area is dry and has been cleaned as well as you can. Open windows and make sure there's good airflow, use a fan pointing out the window to make sure. Use rubber gloves and wear old clothes and/or protect the clothing you'll be wearing, use normal precautions as with any strong cleaning solution. Then spray bleach on the area you want to get the stain out. Or just pour it on, use a sponge or paper towels to move it around to where it's needed, and make sure it doesn't go where you don't want it to. Let it set for 30 to 60 minutes and rinse away with sponges or paper towels. You may have to do this more than once, if the stains are very bad.

If regular household bleach isn't up to the task, you'll probably have to go to your local hardware store or home improvement store to find a good stain remover. Pet stores might also be a good source, as urine stains from pets seem to be very common.

Once the stains are removed, you can use paste wax on the floor to protect it from further staining. Look for that in your local hardware store, in the hardwood floor care area.

Try vinegar, soaking as much as possible. If you are talking grout stain, just use a sealer the color of the grout when new.

Urine-Erase is an enzyme based product that is guaranteed to remove urine stains and odor, regardless of age (even 30 year-old set stains)! This unique product works on mattresses, upholstery, leather, carpets, drapes, floors (wood, cement, terrazzo), walls, kennels, etc. Manufactured since 1978, you won't find a better product that will eliminate urine odors and stains.

Urine-Erase uses a two-step process. First, a dry enzyme powder is mixed fresh with water. This solution is poured onto the surface and breaks down urine so it will react with the bottle of solution (gentle peroxide) that is applied approximately 8 hours after the enzyme. Stains and odors disappear within hours after the second step. A reaction takes place to break down the urine into water and oxygen. Use of Urine-Erase is ideal where indoor air quality is of concern.

Better Than One-Step Systems: Bacteria feeding on urine cause odor. Many one step products will destroy or neutralize bacteria but bacteria will return to the urine and the problem reoccurs. Most products will treat only the odor - but not the stain. Urine-Erase attacks the urine in 2 steps and changes it into an evaporable gas of water and oxygen. Completely and permanently gone. (Note: physically damaged or bleached fabric cannot be repaired by any product.)

How it Works: Urine-Erase is an enzyme based formula developed to break down and eliminate urine (human, cat or dog) from washable fabrics, mattresses and carpets. Simply pour on and allow the solution to follow the same exact path as the urine did originally. You need to apply a volume of Urine-Erase in an amount equal to the urine. Each bottle contains 16 ounces. Always test any stain remover on an inconspicuous location first before using.
My experience is OxyClean works for everything!
Urine out @ the as seen it on TV store, runs about $20 a bottle but does wonders. The glow sponge helps you find where there are other traces of urine. It really does work!
