What is the best way to remove hard water stains from the bathtub?

Question:

Answers:
There are many things you can use, but it depends on how long the water stains have been on the bathtub. I work at a hotel as a Housekeeper so we remove water stains daily. Here are somethings we use.

*Water and Bleach Mixture*

In a spray bottle put in about a 1/4 cup of bleach in the bottom then add water to fill the rest of the bottle.
1. Spray your bathtub where you want it clean.
2. Wait about 60 seconds then wipe with a Rag to clean it.
*** It will take some elbow grease but it comes off***

*Mean Green*
Found at Dollar General or most Dollar Stores. It comes in a gallon jug or spray bottle.
1. Spray where you wish to clean.
2. Wait about 60 seconds then wipe clean with a Rag.
***Removes some tough water stains***

Also you can try Mr Clean Magic Eraser but it Doesn't work as well.

get kaboom
Grease Lightning seems to remove everything. Just let it soak for awhile. It is great but watch out with paint.
I learned the hard way and took paint off in a small spont on our boat!
rub it gently with a wet pumice stone. You can buy pumice stones in the foot care section of the store. Just don't scrub too hard or you'll scratch the porcelain.

The works is the best rust remover. You wont even have to scrub it just spray it on and wait!
I used Iron Out and it worked for me ,put some into the tub and fill the tub with hot water, let stand overnight and the next day your tub will sparkle!
Get one of the New MRCLEAN MAGIC WHITE sponges, It will take it all offl Made my bathtub look like new!! it really did. I use them for all cleaning. they are well worth the $. Buy them in Target, Walmart or any Groc, store, { all clean with out Chemicals.{ very important} Good luck...
Depends on what material the tub is made of. Many methods may destroy the finish on your tub and make it easier to stain in the future. I have found that baking soda and elbow grease applied with a damp microfiber cloth works the best and is safest for all surfaces.
there is a product called - CLR it works wonders.
CLR can be purchased at wal-mart and most hardware stores. Very safe to use.
