How come some people don't believe in automatic electric dishwashers?

Question:

Answers:
They don't get dishes as clean as I would like and I actually enjoy hand washing my dishes--I find it relaxing...

Automatic electric washers use more water than doing it in the sink.
Besides after you prewash the dish/or pot, why not just do the whole thing and be done with it.?
...they produce more carbon emissions through used electricity, waste water and add more chemicals into the water ways.I tend to use mine when I have big dinner parties only.
I believe in them , I just prefer to hand wash my dishes because you have to rinse them before you put them through anyway. rite? I haven't found one yet that you did not, plus i don't usually have a full load it's a waste of electricity for a few dishes.
Maybe they don't have electricity, or they don't need it because there's only 1-2 people in the house.
I wouldn't be able to live without mine. If you have a good one, they do clean your dishes just as well, if not better, because your dishes are also sterilized by the high temperatures of the water the dishwasher uses. People usually use sponges and rags to clean their dishes, which if not replaced often will just spread bacteria. It is really disgusting to think about. They do make more energy efficient dishwashers, sometimes ones that you can get a tax break for, so I am all about it!
