How do I get the sweat smell out of athletic equipment?
Question:The epuipment is boxing head gear, it is fabric on the inside and leather on the outside.

Try soaking it in warm water saturated with baking soda.
sprinkle it with baby powder and seal it in a box for as long as you can
Make a paste of baking soda and water and spread it on the fabric part and let dry and then rinse out with water smell it make sure the smell is gone if not repeat when it is gone let it dry.
If it is machine washable throw it in the wash instead of rinsing it out.
Soak a cloth in lemon juice then let it dry then sprinkle some baking powder..this should do the trick.
