When washing clothes, do you need to separate the whites from colors?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, you do. Because if you don't separate whites from colors, your whites will come out of the laundry with dye all over them, from the colored clothing!! So say you wash a red shirt with a white shirt, your white shirt will turn pink from the red dye!! Always wash white clothing and colored clothing separately!!
yes, you should always seperate white and colors
chit.. as long as you don't use bleach, you shouldn't have a problem. I don't.
no u dont have to as long as u use cold water. but if u have a dark that has never been washed, wash it with only darks the first time. thne after u should be ok
If you just wash for yourself do everything by hand, doesn't take long once you try. Clothes last longer, keep their colour and shape better too. Wash the whites first.
if you want your whites to stay white separate them.if you wash them all together your whites tend too be gray and can pick up other colors.whether you warm or cold.be safe and separate.
Yes absolutely or you can end up with a former white shirt turning red, blue, black or whatever. Always separate white clothes from coloured clothes. It requires some more work and time, but it´s worth it. Good luck
Yes always best to separate them. Look inside the clothes, they normally all have a label. Wash your clothes inside out. Like this your clothes will last longer, especially colored clothes . When you hang them outside in the sun your white clothes will be bleached white the natural way, by the sun and by hanging your colored clothes inside out the sun will not fade the color from them
Yes, or you will end up with grungy clothes! There is more than just white and dark...
I do a white load of clothes in hot water, white or light towels in hot water, a light coloured load (pastels, colorfast pinks, light greys) in warm water, dark clothes in cold water, dark towels in cold water (I wash my towels separate from the regular clothes as I hate little bits of towel fibres on stuff)
There are many types of loads of laundry...
Yes you should always separate whites from colors.Because
the colors will make the whites look dingy.
Ideally you should, but if you don't have enough whites to make a load you can wash them with light colors in cold water. I wouldn't wash anything like white shirts, pants, or blouses with colored clothes, but socks or pajamas or something like that would be okay. Don't wash white towels with your colored clothes because of the lint that comes off the towels.
