This sounds weird, but if you get to it before it's completely dry, take a tea kettle full of boiling water, and holding it up high, pour it on the stain, then immediately blot up the mess with old towels. The stain will come up. Be really careful-put any kids and pets outside!! And if you're scared, you might want to put a blanket between you and the the hot water, though I've never had any splash on me anywhere but my shoes. I saw my dad do this when I was little and got paint all over the new carpet, and it works for me every time!

You could try hairspray or vodka. Put it on and take a paper towel and blot blot and blot until it disappears!!
Finally one I know. Hairspray works great. Get 2 towels, one to blot the carpet with and one to spray the hairspray on, and rub on the stain. This will take quite a little bit of doing, but believe me, the hair spray will get out the stain. Figure to work on this stain around 30 mins. Good luck.
