we've used several brands and our favs are Woolite oxydeep for steam, and home depots store brand non-foaming.oh we have 2 dogs, 5 cats,2 hamsters, and 2 kids so we use the cleaner alot.
I prefer using the Large Red Bottle called Resolve. I have used it since it first came out and you can also do touch ups with a small spray bottle and all I know it has done alright with me and my carpet and furniture still look new. Try it!
I have used the woolite oxydeep for steam cleaning and I sometimes buy resolve for small spots. I now have in my cubbord OXY spot and stain remover for carpets with Scotchard. It seems to work well.
