Question:My mom never taught me. lol

Answers:
maybe you should learn

Why don't you ask your mom before you move out?
wash em in the tub
Have your mom teach you. lol
so easy -ever a caveman .can do it !!
Cold water for cottons, hot water for towels & sheets. Just a couple tips.
you gotta be kidding me .
Ask your mom for a crash course in laundry! It really isn't that complicated and shouldn't take her too long to show you!
just ask your mom to show you. basically all you do is throw a load in, turn the knob, while its pouring the water put in the detergent, close the lid. when its done stick it in the dryer
Get an Apt. that's equipped with washer and dryer or go to public facilites, it's not that expensive for one person.
It's not very hard. Just read the instructions on the laundry. If all else fails, take them to the dry cleaners.
Ok first you have to separate the colors, wash white alone, the black clothes one, and the rest together. Buy laundry detergent and wash your clothes.
you don't want laundry lesson...you want Hot Pocket!!
go to http://www.tenant.net/other_areas/michig...
Step One
To do laundry, first sort your dirty clothes, making separate piles for whites, bright colors and darks. If you mix whites with colors in the wash, the colors may bleed onto and ruin your whites. Also separate clothes that tend to produce lint (towels, sweatshirts, chenille and flannel) from clothes that tend to attract lint (corduroy, velvets and permanent-press clothes).
Step Two
As you sort, close zippers to prevent snagging, and empty pockets (you don't want soggy shreds of facial tissue all over your clothes!).
Step Three
Pretreat heavy stains with laundry detergent or stain remover, heeding instructions on the product label.
Step Four
Use the measuring cap of the detergent bottle or the cup found in detergent boxes to measure out the right amount of laundry soap according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step Five
Pour the soap into your washer or its detergent dispenser. Add liquid fabric softener, if desired, according to the product instructions.
Step Six
Choose the water temperature for the wash cycle:hot, warm or cold; save on energy and opt for a cold rinse cycle for any load. Consult the labels on your clothes, your washing machine's instruction manual or the detergent container for recommendations on washing temperature. In general, use cold water to protect colors and darks from bleeding or fading, and to avoid shrinkage. Use warm or hot water for durable fabrics like cotton (make sure they're preshrunk), and to ensure that your whites stay white.
Step Seven
Start the washer before adding clothes, if you have time, to allow the detergent to dissolve in the water. The regular cycle suffices for most laundry, but use the gentle cycle for sheer or delicate fabrics. Adjust the water level to the size of your load.
Step Eight
If you need to add bleach, allow the machine to run for a few minutes to mix the detergent and water, then add about a cup of bleach to the washer or the bleach dispenser.
Step Nine
Add your clothes, close the lid and let the machine do its dirty work. Washing takes approximately 45 minutes.
Step Ten
Put the clothes (and an anti-static sheet, if desired) in the dryer after the wash is complete. Hang delicates (such as bras and certain sweaters) to air dry on a clothing rack or hanger. Check tags if in doubt.
Step Eleven
Remove lint from the dryer's lint tray.
Step Twelve
Select the correct drying temperature for your laundry load: low for delicates, medium for most fabrics and high for cotton. When in doubt, low or medium is the safest bet.
Step Thirteen
Close and turn on the dryer. Expect the drying cycle to take an hour or more for a full load.
Step Fourteen
Once the clothes are completely dry, remove them from the dryer or drying rack and fold your clean laundry.
Tips & Warnings
-If you stuff too many clothes into the washer, it won't clean them well. Allow room for clothes to agitate during the wash cycle.
-Remember that you should typically dry-clean some fabrics: silk, wool, linen and rayon, for example. You should hand-wash lingerie in the sink with laundry soap designed for delicates.
-Never add bleach to wash water while clothes are in the washer. The concentrated bleach will whiten and dissolve clothing. Add clothing to the washing machine once the bleach has been mixed well with the water and the washer is half-full.
-Handle bleach carefully. Avoid splashing it directly onto clothes or yourself.
Keep your whites together and you can throw in some really light pastels, as well. I use hot water for those on a gentle cycle.
My hubby and I have quite a few black t-shirts so those usually go into a load on their own on regular cycle with cold water or hot or warm if they're really dirty. Colors go into their own load, too... same rules as black.
Jeans on their own with regular cycle and sometimes I throw my towels in with them.

ALWAYS keep like colors together or dye will run into your lighter clothes.

Don't fill the dryer up too much or it will take longer for your clothes to dry and throw in a dryer sheet and you're good to go!
Wow...are you serious?
Well, first you separate your clothes. I usually do it darks from lights, then put your jean-materials and bed sheets in separate piles. Then, one pile at a time, you turn the washer on and pour one scoop of detergent in. If your whites are a little dingy, you could also put in a tiny bit of bleach to make them whiter. Also, doing this with your sheets makes them fresher. But, make sure NOT to bleach dark clothes with regular bleach. You have to get a special kind for colors. Regular bleach only does whites. Then, once your load is done in the washer, put it in the dryer. I would put it on low/medium low, because your clothes will shrink if you set the temperature too high. For jeans, I would let them air dry outside. Hope this helps!
why not ask her to show you now? you separate the whites from the colored clothes and not everything can go in the dryer.some things need to be hung up to dry or they will shrink. never pour bleach or fabric softener directly on the fabric. it will stain.also,if you do happen to accidentally shrink something place it in a sink of cold water and when it has soaked a while stretch it back out by hand.i have never presoaked my clothes but have used shout to rub and scrub ink marks etc out before throwing in the wash.its not very hard. also, peroxide and an old toothbrush works really well on blood stains. youll get the hang of it.
it doesnt take a genius to do it just separate the colors do red with red dark colors and whites.
Separate the colors from the whites. Then look on the tags of your clothes. Some can be washed and dried and some can't. Put the amount of detergent in the washer that it says. Wash them. If they can be dried, put them in the dryer and throw in a dryer sheet (fabric softener). Get them out as soon as they are done so they don't wrinkle. Keep you some 'spray and wash' (in a spray bottle in the detergent isle) on hand and if you get something spilled on your clothes, spray it before you put it in the hamper. That will keep the stain from setting before you wash it. Good luck.
You must of been spoiled for never doing your own laundry. Read on the side of the laundry detergent box and you will learn how do to your wash!
seperate whites from all darks so you will have to do two seperate loads. use the measuring cup for your detergent and a fabric sofetener sheet in the dryer. You'll be fine. NEVER wash and dry wool. It will shrink!
are you kidding... wow... so separate them by colors, i.e. darks, whites, and bright colors like reds... don't ever wash reds with whites... and use cold water so just in case you mixed colors they don't bleed onto the whites... put a cap full of soap into the wash and turn the cycle on... let it fill up a little before putting your clothes in it so that the soap doesn't get on the clothes... then, putt your clothes in and close the lid... when they are done, take them out, and put them in the dryer. Just don't dry anything that says do not dry on the tag or your bras... Just read the tags if you don't know what cycle to use or what dryer temp to use... the tags will tell you gentle cycle only or low temp dry if necessary or stuff like that
colors get cold water and whites in hot water...nerver bleach colors and dont overload the dryer or washermachine cuz cleaning results diminish
It so easy!

Make sure you separate everything into loads. Put all the bright colors and black clothes together. Put all the whites together. Put all the towels, sheets and sweatpants together.

Before you put any clothes in the washer, turn it on and start the water. For colors/mixed loads use the "permanent press" setting. For whites use cold water. For towels, sheets and sweatpants use hot water.

Put the laundry soap into the water and let it mix up before you put your clothes in. (Otherwise you may get detergent stat ins on them). Once the water is filled half-way you can dump the loads into the washer. If its a white load, you can add a couple capfulls of bleach.

Make sure you don't overload it or nothing will get clean. You should have a little space in the top and the laundry shouldn't be packed in there.

Once the washer is done, throw them in the dryer and add a fabric softener sheet if you want. For the mixed/color and whites loads use medium heat or permanent press setting. For whites and towels use high heat. Make sure you take out anything that could potentially rip (delicate things, lace, any bras) or shrink (100% cotton that you're washing for the first time or jeans).

Once everything is dry fold it right away so it doesn't get wrinkled.

You're done! It takes a while but there is definitely something satisfying about have all your laundry clean and put away. Makes you feel like a new woman. ;-)
Count your blessings to have your Mom do it for you all this time!

It's not too hard. Ask your Mom to show you.
wow that is sad... just read the tag in the shirt or pants that says how to care for the gamete
Like colors go together
Just ask your mom and yell at her for spoiling you so much...

first you serate your colors from your whites. Then put them in the wash. then put in your deterent. and press the start botton. when they are done put them in your drayer.and start it.
