Just for future reference...?

Question:What is the best way to clean up spilled baby powder? My two year old spilled a large sized container of baby powder all over my room. I vaccumed it up, but now my vaccum doesn't work as well. I cleaned it out, but every time I use it, it makes the house smell like baby powder. I don't plan on this happening again, but what should I do if it does? What should I tell other people who experience this?

Next time (and I hope there's not) ... if you have a shop-vac in the garage- that will work the best. I can't promise you that it won't smell like baby powder for a while too...but at least you won't ruin your vacuum. OR try to sweep up as much of the powder as you can with a regular broom and dust-pan. Go over what ever is left with the vacuum.

Use a shop vac- they're easier to clean stuff like that out of.
I would suggest , using Sellotape , to collect as much as the heavy amount of spillage, then use the hoover. Yes a lot of hard work, but children are children & we just love them
Baby power in a clean smell. You pay lots of $$ for deorents for the vac. ENjoy it.
