Lemon juice as a laundry detergent booster?

Question:can i use lemon juice as a laundry detergent booster?

Answers:
Lemon juice will pull the color out of fabric. You can use white vinegar. The smell goes away once the clothes are dry. You can buy Boraxo in your supermarket and it will brighten and freshen your laundry. (It's in the laundry isle, also at Wal-mart.)

Hear, hear. I agree with Sam. White vinegar is amazing.
It would be kind of an expensive laundry booster but it would work. You could try baking soda. It works really well!
Never hear of that one but you can use Oxyclean and/or Cream Tarter. You can find this in the baking Isle with the spices.
Lemon juice is a natural grease cutter, however it's not good for fabrics, cause it's also an acid and might pull the color from fabrics.
