My cousin recently got red melted candle wax on her light brown carpet any way to get that out?

Question:

Answers:
Put a towel or washcloth over it and take a hot iron put on top of the towel/washcloth and it will melt on to that instead of the carpet.

Here's what I've heard works:

Put a paper bag over the wax.
Put a towel over the paper bag and iron it (on low).

Supposedly the iron heats the wax and it sticks to the paper bag.

Hope it works!!
1. Try to pull up the larger "chunks" of wax
2. Take a brown paper bag and a warm iron. (not hot enough to melt carpet fibers). Run this warm iron over the brown paper that is over the wax.
3. Repeat until the wax has melted onto the paper

I have had to do this before and it worked like a charm... just watch the iron temperature.
Lay wax paper over the wax spill, then use an iron on a warm setting to iron the wax paper over the spot. This will suck up the wax into the wax paper. While it will get rid of the wax, it may leave the candle dye behind.
put a piece of paper or cloth over the spot and press a heated iron against it till you carefully remove as much as you could without burning the carpet.
