Blood stain?

Question:my son got a bloody nose the other day in bed..whats the easiest way to clean blood off a mattress? Ones with the "pillow" soft tops

Answers:
I would try hydrogen peroxide. My husband is a nurse and uses the peroxide on his nurses scrubs to get blood stains out.

well thats neerly impossible
I've delt with this one before, I used cold water and spritzed it on (so as not to get it too damp) rubbed it off with a damp cloth and left the matress out in the sun for the afternoon.
No marks left whatsoever. :-)
hydrogen peroxide
get you a carpet cleaner with a hose attachment...use the hose attachment and bleach...you might get most of it out, but not all.( put a matress pad on the bed to keep other stains from ruining the mattress)
A solution of Oxi Fresh or put on hydrogen peroxide then sponge it up with water.
The best thing to use is Hydrogen Peroxide, If you need to use a detergent, you need one with an enzyme . So use dish washer detergent with a little water and scrub it in to the stain, and then rinse.
I would use hydrogen Proxide. It will take old stains out of clothing.
Hydrogen peroxide will take out blood stains. Put a little bit on (I'd use a cotton swab or cotton ball), let it bubble. wipe off and repeat the process.
