dont listen to those fools ok, to be honest u dont clean they are not meant to be cleaned so i guess u have to buy another one.

Why is it dirty on the inside? I've had mine for over 30 years and it still looks like brand new.
I don't think you can clean it. I read an article about lava lamps recently and the liquid has to be just the right level for it to work properly. I doubt you could pour it out and then back into the lamp without losing a little of the liquid, but if you're determined to clean it, I guess you could try.
