Permanent marker stains?

Question:How can i get a permanent marker stain out of black dress pants. and yes they r black and r still noticeable. please help.

We cannot guarantee stain removal since many variables can be involved. Testing first is always recommended as well as following both the stain remover and clothing manufacturer's instructions. Here is a second suggestion......

Permanent marker tends to be permanent. You may want to try a solvent based cleaner as a last ditch effort. Rubbing alcohol may work. Test in a hidden area first for color fastness in your car and clothes. I worked with a solvent last night that said it was fabric safe and would remove marker from uph and carpet. If you go to your local home improvement store and explain to them your problem. They should be able to direct you towards a good solvent cleaner. Thats the main thing to remember water based cleaners are not going to work.

But as stated before permanent marker may not come out.
